Primarily financial and legal documents from various locations by different individuals. Legal records include depositions, writs, and summonses, ca. 1720-1816. Goodrich family documents consist of deeds and writs, 1722-1823. Financial records, 1761-1809 include a receipt for a share in the Susquehannah Purchase, 1774, a list of estimated value of land lots in Ohio Companies, 1800, and bills and receipts. Among the letters is one concerning the sale of wine for Joseph Isham, 1785. Also included is a 1798 crew list for the sailing vessel Mary of New York, and orders of payment from Middletown, Connecticut selectmen.
